@FinanceGhost If you manage to disregard the utter trash in these here parts (lists FTW), I actually find the signal-to-noise on X much higher than on something like LinkedIn. Admittedly not a high bar. LinkedIn truly turned into an AI slopified, humblebragging wasteland.

@techspence A lot of it depends on company culture. Is a click used as a stick or treated as a genuine learning opportunity? Is it users vs. security or are we all together in this? In practice it does seem most orgs just want to tick a compliance box and move on.

@readswithravi For me there were two that changed my life in different ways. 1. Materially, "The Richest Man in Babylon" completely reframed how I see money and wealth generation. 2. Spiritually "Man's Search for Meaning" changed how I experience life, both the good and the bad parts.
