Happy birthday to the Barbican, which opened in 1982, 42 years ago. 🎈 The @BarbicanCentre in London is a famous example of Brutalist architecture. The coarse concrete surfaces of its 3 towers and 13 terrace blocks were built between 1965 and 1976 on a bomb-ravaged site.
