🚨 Breaking News: Russian Defense Minister: Yes, what we are saying is true: Iran possesses an offensive missile system that the United States does not have. There are highly advanced missiles that have not yet been used. Iran has a stockpile of missiles capable of destroying the entire Middle East, not just Israel. We call on the United States and Israel to immediately stop the war and declare the military operation against Iran a failure. Otherwise, the losses and damage will be a surprise. That is all.

Whats the age when you just give up? I’m 58 this year and don’t feel like giving up yet. I still wear the vans and listen to punk and metal and enjoy a drink. Don’t think I’m embarrassing myself to be honest.

Btw, the VA problems cut both ways In my line of work I spoke with hundreds of pre 9/11 vets, especially Vietnam/Korea war vets who had to fight tooth and nail for disability benefits

@PubWanghaf Reform is always hated by those who characterize "fixing something" as attacking it. By that logic, repairing your car is anti-car.

The VA fraud is a perfect example of why nothing gets done in this country The lines are so blurred between genuine disability and fraudulent claims that bringing it up inevitably offends people and nothing gets done I know from MANY firsthand experiences how fraudulent many of these claims are. Too bad I guess. The topic is saturated in feelings and emotions. So bringing it up causes an outpouring of whining and totally missing the point.

@drterrysimpson Terry--your AI-written post, while directionally correct, is annoying to read due to excessive AI-styling. Less AI and more Terry would be appreciated good sir.

The most predictable reaction to GLP-1s isn’t from patients—it’s from parts of the fitness industry. Because GLP-1s don’t just change weight. They change the business model. If your entire brand is built on “just cut carbs harder,” “just grind more,” or selling willpower as a subscription service—then a medication that quiets hunger and improves metabolic signaling is… disruptive. So instead of adapting, some mock. They call patients “lazy.” They call physicians “drug dealers.” They pretend biology is a moral issue. But here’s the reality: Obesity isn’t a failure of effort. It’s a dysregulation of appetite, satiety, and energy balance. And medications like Ozempic don’t replace lifestyle—they make it possible. They quiet the noise so patients can finally: Train consistently Recover appropriately Choose food instead of fighting it The smart coaches already see this. They’re not fighting GLP-1s—they’re working with them: Building strength to preserve lean mass Programming exercise patients can sustain Supporting nutrition that actually nourishes Those are the professionals who will win. Because the future isn’t “meds vs lifestyle.” It’s physiology plus training plus nutrition. And yes—if you want a foundation that actually has decades of outcome data? The Mediterranean diet still wins. Less noise. More life.

Behind The Times: Woman Named Karen Arrested For Vandalizing Cybertruck | Not the Bee No joke, this is a literal Karen who has been arrested in North Carolina for vandalizing a man's Cybertruck. Please don't send us a letter. Yep, Karen here allegedly took a piece of lumber with a rusty nail and attempted to scratch the crap out of the dude's Cybertruck. The owner was shocked because this happened well after all of the Tesla attacks last year. Karen's a little behind the times. Here's Local 12 in Charlotte: According to a statement from the Caldwell County Sheriff's Office, deputies arrested a 67-year-old Karen Cooke Lewis on Tuesday in connection with damage to a Tesla Cybertruck, authorities said. Lewis was charged with misdemeanor injury to personal property after a man reported that a woman used a board with nails to scratch his vehicle Sunday in Collettsville, according to the Caldwell County Sheriff's Office. Investigators said the vehicle's onboard camera system recorded the incident, allowing deputies to quickly identify the suspect. What kind of sad life have you lived if, as a 67-year-old woman, you're out vandalizing Teslas because you're still mad at Elon or something? I'm not saying that she's the reason for the Karen stereotype ... but the shoe certainly fits. Her mask was apparently as effective at hiding her identity as it was at preventing the spread of Covid. notthebee.com/article/north-…

@FurkanGozukara Yeah. Iran's going to tell the truth. They said they didn't have missiles that could reach 4000mi, too, didn't they. And now we know that isn't true.

When almost one in three ex-military have a disability rating despite most having never been in combat, something is terribly wrong. As of 2022–2023, approximately 30% of U.S. veterans have a service-connected disability rating from the VA. The 2024 Census Bureau report shows the rate of disability doubled from 15% in 2008 to about 30% in 2022.

Here's the Sentry Mode footage of 67-year old Karen Lewis vandalizing a Cybertruck with a board and nails. She then placed the board under the front tire, presumably hoping it would be driven over. She also placed an aluminum sign under another tire, because? She has since been arrested and charged with misdemeanor damage to property.
