@zajkowskimarcin Ongoing v7 > v10, content migration in multiple steps from v7.5.x to 7.15.10 to v8.5.5, running custom healtcheck migrations, then onto to v8.x to v9.x to v10.x (and custom code migration in v10 only)

#umbraco friends, I need some good success stories of your recent Umbraco upgrades. v7 -> v9 (and beyond!) v7 -> v8 v6 -> v? Please share your work!

@leekelleher Goes in that direction... we've tried using the NC approach, but won't work... can't have mix of variant and non variant fields then... Our initial q is about avoiding 'conditional' fields (we could use conditional display package - but we feel this is just a hack workaround)

Anyone done a custom #umbraco property editor with a mix of variant and non variant fields?

@netaddicts They’ve got some of the best backyard runners in the world at the moment! We got over 90 during lockdown in a few places, but 100 has been the holy grail for a while now, so good to see the record broken 😃

Holy shit. The Belgians managed 100 loops at the backyard ultra team event. That’s 100 hours of running, and over 670km of running in one sitting. Which is absolutely insane. That’s going to hurt now they’ve stopped!

@skttl @nielslyngsoe Also, having option to "disable" layout changes, for example give EN editors (main language) full grid features, locking grid layout for any other languages, and only give option to change data/content

@nielslyngsoe Limit the editor to a set number of layouts, like "I only want the editor to be able to do a sidebar and a main content area"

What would you consider essential for a Grid Layout Editor(in a CMS) Which layout compositions? Structural validation/enforcements? Layout templates? Frontend rendering capabilities? ...
