There 44 grammar, spelling and formatting errors on the election flyer for our local Reform UK dullard. “REFORM UK WILL SAVE BRITIAN.” An accurate reflection of the state of affairs. 🙄

Woke up, put my right contact in my eyeball and the worst burning sensation I've ever felt immediately ensued. Scrambled to take it out, thinking "wtf, did I put the contacts in mouthwash over night?" Nope, wife told me last night, "We're out of the regular contact solution, use the stuff with the red lid." Stuff with the red lid with a red warning label, "DO NOT PUT CONTACT INTO EYE WITHOUT THOROUGHLY RINSING WITH WATER. SEEK IMMEDIATE ATTENTION IF YOU GET THIS PRODUCT IN YOUR EYES." Fun morning! How was yours?!

I’m loving the rediscovery of URLs-as-state in the Frontend community. It’s funny that it reminds people of PHP when it was always there 🙊

This is a true story about a woman named Gladys Ingle, who became a hero in 1926 when she performed an incredible feat of bravery. Gladys was a wing walker, which meant that she walked on the wings of airplanes while they were in flight. This was a popular form of entertainment at air shows in the 1920s, and Gladys was one of the best in the business. On one occasion, Gladys was performing at an air show in California when she noticed that the landing gear on the plane she was flying in was malfunctioning. The pilot, who was also her husband, realized that they would not be able to land safely unless the landing gear was fixed. Gladys knew what she had to do. She climbed out of the cockpit and onto the wing of the plane, which was flying at an altitude of around 2,000 feet. She then crawled onto the wing of another plane that was flying nearby, and from there she climbed onto its fuselage. Once she was on the second plane, Gladys was able to reach the landing gear of the first plane. She managed to fix the problem and then climbed back onto the second plane. The stunt was incredibly dangerous, and Gladys had to be extremely brave to perform it. She later said that she was not afraid during the stunt, but that she was focused on getting the job done. Gladys became a national hero after the stunt, and she continued to perform as a wing walker for many years. She was inducted into the International Air & Space Hall of Fame in 1989, and she passed away in 1981 at the age of 81. Gladys Ingle's mid-air stunt remains one of the most incredible feats of bravery in aviation history, and she will always be remembered as a true pioneer of flight.

@ArathNidoGamer I’m very new to Minecraft (setting it up for my young son) and I can’t work out how to create the weapons table. I’ve added 2 x coal and 4 x copper ingot per first image on mcpedl.com/araths-guns-ad… but no guns table is being crafted. Any suggestions for a beginner?

Hello coder friends! I haven't coded anything in a while, but have an idea of something for the FI community. It would be a simple web app. What languages/frameworks should I consider? Thanks!

I see web development gatekeeping Twitter is alive and kicking, so let me say this: If it renders right, is performant and accessible, you are doing fine.

Kind of curious. If you do Scrum or some other Agile™ methodology/framework, what exactly does it buy you? What was your goal when you adopted it? Did it move you toward that goal? In other words, why?
