@maksimologija No, the ministry served its purpose, namely COVID and getting people to talk about the reception of converts.

The majority of clergy do not use social media or online platforms regardless of their church, however the ones that do especially for the Eastern Orthodox often make fools of themselves and propagate the same distasteful behavior as the Dawah scene.

"I received the doctrine of a lesser pantheon of gods in Ps 82 and a demon summoning ritual sex magick trick in Gen 6 directly from my bishop Michael Heiserakis. Trust me because I have seventeen college degrees in useless Semitic languages tee hee hee"

Remember: No matter what Fr. SDY threatens you with, he can't harm you more than he's already harmed Orthodox theology.

Absolutely no one was clawing for the demon summoning ritual sex magick synthesis interpretation of Genesis 6 before the Lord of Spirits podcast foisted it upon us, btw. They weren't solving a problem, they were riding the conspiracy train popularized by Pizzagate and Epstein.

@Abunajohn Very worldly reasoning here. Why don’t we have any LGBT saints? I bet the Catholics have one by now

How come the Orthodox Church has no lay saints in the last 200 years that weren’t martyrs? Even the Catholic Church has lay saints. How can that be?

@DefiantBaptist @pearlythingz If these meninists don’t have an answer on what can be done why do they expect clergy and christians at large to say “yeah I’d beat my wife?” Even if someone “brave” enough to say that it’s just not a sustainable option. do we not read in St Paul one spouse makes the other holy?

In part one of @pearlythingz’s discussion with an Orthodox deacon, she pressed him about what the church is doing to protect men from predatory women. He starts off with the standard line that if men would just fulfill their duty as husbands, the wives will not rebel. This is obviously not always true, as Pearl points out. To his credit, he does say that a woman that transifies her kid should be divorced. (Please clap.) So then, the deacon pivots to, “Well, men having to pay child support to an evil ex-wife isn’t all that bad.” That is simply mind-blowing since missing child support payments can land you in JAIL. Pearl does not allow him to minimize this issue. And finally, realizing that this is not a winning path that he’s on, the deacon goes back to a male sin: men that beat their wives. 😑 This is, unfortunately, the way these conversations typically go. There is a 99.9% focus on male responsibility and accountability. Link: youtu.be/tZqUB2ZYjb8

@YariLogos How would you explain the Bible being an “incarnation of God” and simultaneously say the trinity is not plainly manifest in it?
