Welcome to day two of Re:co. Our last plenary session featured Jenn Rugolo, Peter Giuliano, Dr. Fabiana Carvalho, and Catalina Eikenberg, who explored attributes that gained a significant amount of traction during the pandemic, and attributes that seemed poised for growth.

NKG PACE is a QC training program creating opportunities to welcome greater diversity into coffee. Our first Partners begin in May, and they can look forward to an engaging and rigorous curriculum. We'll share more here in the coming months about what they will be learning!

@nkgpace is a brand-new program for three paid, apprentice-style QC positions for Black Americans starting 5/22. The application deadline is 11/30 at 5 PM ET. We hope you'll take a chance and apply — or please help us spread the word.

NKG PACE is open to members of the Black community who are interested in careers in coffee that include sensory analysis, quality-lab management, and Q Grader training.
