朝鮮半島問題を取材する中で、韓国の元高官や専門家達から「アメリカという国は自分たちの事しか考えない」という言葉を何度も聞いた。アメリカと釣り合う国はないと考えているためで、「アメリカは分かってくれる」という考えがいかに意味のないことなのかを散々聞かされた。今それを思い出している。
