Apparently I broke some rules because x doesnt let me respond. My issue is you sing songs you pay copyright and I don’t like the idea of supporting them. 🤷🏻‍♀️

By the way, this same warped definition of mercy is what led to the acceptance of homosexuality in the Church.

More and more, I am convinced that a "culture of mercy" these charlatans preach is nothing more than a "culture of willful blindness and willingness to excuse abuse."

I hope we have reached a tipping point where, as followers of the Lord Jesus Christ… Mercy becomes a hill we are willing to die on—because it is the hill Jesus died on. @landonschott We reject insinuation and refuse to follow those who weaponize it as unquestioned truth. It is a tactic used to pre-frame and shape narratives. Accusation is the enemy’s weapon. Prayer is ours. We forgive because we have been forgiven. We refuse to define people by their worst day.

On its face, this seems like the Christian thing to say. In reality, this is willful blindness and refusal to stand for justice, call out sin, and speak Truth. That is demonic behavior disguised as "mercy." In other words, it's hedonism, and it has poisoned the Church.

@TammyDoodleDo @JeneNelson1221 My understanding is that they filed as a church in order to be able to discriminate based on religion. If not, they would have been obligated under law to hire non-Christians. I can't blame them there. The law is what forced them to file as a church.

They claim to be a "church" under tax laws to avoid normal corporate taxes & required public financial reportings. Daystar is not a kingdom & so no 'heir apparent.' As a corporation/church it is incumbent upon the board to hire who they deem to be the best person to make Daystar thrive & flourish. It would be nice if they honored the founder's wishes, but many people don't take that route when great amounts of money & power are at stake. Perhaps Jonathan will be led to start his own media ministry. He's certainly watched one being created & should be capable. I don't think, after all the probable lawsuits & podcaster's insistence, that this one will ever be available to him. "Churches" nor corporations are kingdoms to be handed from one generation to the next. Many have failed terribly when that is done.

The 2021 email from Marcus Lamb continues to be debated as Daystar’s succession plan. However, in Feb 2024, Daystar filed a total structural revamp. They scrapped permanent titles and gave the Board absolute power to appoint, remove, and control all future leadership.

The bloodbath is about to begin.

@AlistairMerrym1 Yes, the majority of the Joni apologists are very clearly ignorant of the story. Once you peek even slightly behind the curtain of this story, it's plainly obvious who was in the wrong.

One of the best takes I've read about Daystar and Joni Lamb's passing. This whole thing is tragic. There are a lot of people commenting who haven't done their homework, many simply never will. It takes time, research, and prayerful consideration to get to the truth.

If you don't want to endorse her marriage to the penis pastor? No further comments! If your wife gets fired and you are demoted to Barrista in Chief? No further comments! Anything less is Blackmail? 👌 The first broadcasters to leave the air at Daystar were actually Jonathan and Suzy Lamb. They were bullied out, threatened, followed, and intimidated because they had Further Comments. That was all they had. Everything else was taken...brick by brick. You call that Blackmail as if this email exists in a vacuum, it doesn't. Daystar was Jonathan Lamb's inheritance according to his Father. How do you blackmail someone for your inheritance? The truth is this, good faith was exhausted and never practiced by Joni, "the board", Tom Calender, Jimmy Evans, Doug Weiss, and the other family members. All of whom threw him in a pit along with his wife and their children and posted memes about it on Twitter. @sheila_mccamy @DaCrabbyFiddler They do not go live every day, that’s for sure. Many of their episodes are either re-runs or pre-recorded to air at a later date. That is normal in television and certainly during a time like Joni’s death, it would be apropos.
