🚨 Update After final interviews yesterday, there seems to be a lot of momentum trending towards South Fayette defensive coordinator Bruce Fronk. An announcement is expected Monday at the school board meeting.

@nuchsolo @WPIAL_Insider Sure he would have some good ideas but he would have no idea how to deal with the crazy lebo parents, fielding 5 separate teams, filling a coaching staff to make up for his experience, and not just looking forward to when he could play his kids

Gonna put this out there. This bracket is so ridiculous. 4 of my top 20 at 114 LBS are in this bracket. Wilson and Oberheim are in the top 10, and Humphreys and Smith are outside of the top 10. This is why I and so many people get frustrated with predetermined bracketing and math problems for seeding. I believe that the winner of the Oberheim/Wilson Semi will make it to Hershey, but that match should be in the finals. Placement in the bracket is key no matter the tournament, and it could be the difference between a cake walk to the finals or a battle just to get there. Get your qualifiers from the district tournaments and seed ALL of them. NE AA Regional has 10 wrestlers a weight class. Call me up, and I'll seed all 130 wrestlers, and it'll take me a couple of hours.

As someone that grew up without family vacations —I’m glad I have a wife that pushes us to travel and see the world. All of my young memories were filled with camps and tournaments… and don’t get me wrong, it was awesome —but I’m beyond lucky that I get to give my daughters something that I didn’t have. Moments. Experiences. Memories captured. The traveling can be absolutely brutal. And I mean BRUTAL. But the chaos & moments of feeling like I want to jump out of a plane are all worth it for the memories we bring back. To family vacations & filling up the photo album in Hawaii🍻 (S/o the Kona Village Rosewood for the A+ vibes)

He literally is. “No one gives a shit about the team tourney” Yes, they literally do, which is why people were talking about this match days ago before we found out it wasn’t happening. I hope it all works out for Brandt. He’s a great wrestler. I remember watching him at NHSCA’s when he was still in middle school. His dad’s a coward though.

@MatSavant @JustinJBasch Harer could easily go to 139 and tech his way to a state title. But he wants the challenge. Wrestling Bassett takes time to make a gameplan. Having it for state final in both kids last ever PA match is what matters the most. Hope they save it for last match
