@Nufcoutsider @GetAHurrCutMan_ £28m, but that's beside the point. We bought him because we saw what he could become. It was a rush but it paid off. We're not the only ones to do similar deals. Brighton have made loads of signings for similar amounts for prospects that dont immediately play regularly.

Longstaff can't get a game for Leeds. Almiron ended up in the MLS. Murphy, Livramento and Burn have dropped off a cliff. Anderson was sold and we all said he wouldn't get gametime under Howe. Thiaw has got worse as the season has gone on. But aye, other than that.... #NUFC

Schar, Longstaff, Almiron, Murphy, Miley, Livramento, Hall, Gordon, Burn, Isak, Anderson… I could go on as you could also say Bruno and Thiaw

@Nufcoutsider @GetAHurrCutMan_ Nonsense. Hall had played a handful of games at Chelsea and was poor when he played early on after joining us. He's improved massively in his time here.

@GetAHurrCutMan_ Hasn’t improved anyone in a long time Lewis Hall was a fucking baller at Chelsea and we payed 35 million for him at 17/18 so can’t say him he should of been playing from the moment he arrived

@TheSeanIdentity @NUFC360 It would still be bad enough to make the deal impossible. Maybe the loan to buy would be a workaround? Not sure about that but that'd only happen if City have no other takers (or we make it dependent on the Livramento deal).

@nufcbase @NUFC360 Oh I'm not saying it's ideal, just that it's not as bad. Might be one where we'd just loan with obligation to get around it (if possible - I believe City can bank the permanent money as income straight away so might pose a problem).

🗞️ James Trafford may be ready to turn his back on Manchester City already, despite only rejoining the club in the summer, his promises of being the No 1 have not been met. Spurs are ready to join the race for the England stopper, with Vicario’s future uncertain. Newcastle are in pole position should Trafford become available in the summer, the fee is expected to be around £40 Million. The Sun | #NUFC

@TheSeanIdentity @NUFC360 It's still bad for us. Lets say we were selling Livramento for 60m. That'd be about 50m profit we'd lose instantly by buying Trafford.

@nufcbase @NUFC360 Doesn't really matter if we were gonna sign a keeper anyway - with Villa and Ramsey it was worse as he was pure profit

🔚 With Kieran Trippier’s time at Newcastle coming to an end. Where do you think his next move will be? 🇸🇦 Saudi Pro League? 🇺🇸 MLS? 🇪🇸 La Liga return? 🇫🇷 Ligue 1? #NUFC

🚨📈 Forest expect Manchester United to remain seriously in the race for Elliot #Anderson. Manchester City have also registered their interest, although their current focus is on extending Rodri’s contract. #MUFC #MCFC So far, no club has made direct contact with Forest. A fee in the region of £100-120 million is still being demanded. @SkySportDE 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

@Scott_Pert If you think he is similar in style to Pirlo you've never watched him.

If Sandro Tonali moved to Manchester United, with the MASSIVE upgrade in quality of team mate he could become the new Pirlo. Such a waste of talent at Newcastle.

@SkySportsPL United letting Osula nick Goal of the Month in the 90th is embarrassing work. Amorim’s lot make every late winner look like a training drill.

@1wnga To be fair, he's competing against centre mids, Hall is competing against wingers. So O'Reilly has more competition. Also, if you look at Dan Burn, he always has a fairly average aerial win % but also actually wins the most aerial duels in the league.
