I helped this woman several times… but the one time I needed her, she priced me like a stranger. There’s this woman around my area who does cleaning jobs. I’ve helped her with food, money… I’ve never turned her away. So when I got a space for my pharmacy and needed someone to clean it, she was the first person that came to my mind. I called her, described the place, and she told me ₦25,000. I was surprised because the space isn’t even that big. I tried to plead with her based on how I’ve always helped her… I told her my budget was ₦20,000. She refused and said if not because she knows me, it would even be more. So I left it. I eventually got someone else to clean the same space for ₦12,000. A few weeks later, I saw her again. She came to greet me and asked me to buy something for her like she usually does. I told her no. Since that day, she doesn’t greet me again. Was I wrong? If it were you, would you have helped her?

I even feel ashamed, discussing this topic of cooking by women. Some women really fell off. Or is it some men that fell off? Because I don't understand how a man would be saying that "he prefers to cook while his wife prefers to eat". Uwa bu paw paw mehn. Shit.

My husband went through my phone, and since then he hasn’t said a word to me. I saw him going through it but pretended I was asleep. I didn’t want to wake up and ask for my phone because it would seem like I had something to hide. I lay there pretending to be asleep while I watched his facial expressions change. He put the phone down quietly and came to lie next to me. A few minutes later, I placed my leg on him, and he wiggled his way out. I threw my arms around him, still pretending to be asleep, and he wiggled out again. I didn’t question him or do anything. I woke up the next morning, greeted him like we always do, and he responded under his breath. Since then, words have been few and far between. He talks only when I ask questions, and the answers come in single words instead of sentences. When I ask what the problem is, he tells me he’s fine. I’ve gone through my phone, shaken it sideways, up and down, just in case a message I didn’t know I had would fall out, but there’s nothing to warrant his new way of treating me. How do I get him to come clean about what he thinks he saw? He’s acting weird, like he saw something that hurt his feelings or made him feel less of a man, but there’s nothing on my phone, not even a man calling me “dear” or “babe.” He’s making me overthink things I shouldn’t be thinking about, and I don’t like it. #copied

I was in someone’s house yesterday to get some files. While waiting, a lady was mopping and then the daughter of the man I had went to meet, poured the Garri water on the floor where it has been mopped. The lady mopping got angry and started to mop the area again. I was actually expecting a brain reset igbaju or igabrun. But no, she didn’t do that.
