Arsenal will get hammered for not signing a player this window - but really, who moved that you think could have made an impact on us right now? You can't criticize a recruitment team that has built this Arsenal from the ground up. 2nd in the league, 3rd in Champions League, with the best young coach in the game. We're in our 3rd title race in 3 seasons with a team people said was finished after missing out on CL to Spurs. The best run clubs have discipline. They don't take chances on expensive gambles. If players aren't available, they don't spend. Arsenal has a finite resources; a 40% premium now means less money in the summer. So, you either believe the right players were available and we decided not to do it. Which is absurd. Or you accept that Arsenal's backroom team wants to win as much as you and they didn't think there was enough value in the market to move now. Arsenal will sign a 6 like Zubimendi, a winger like Semenyo, and a striker like Sesko in the summer. They didn't do it now because they couldn't.
