I went to play football this morning. Got to our usual spot and met a brand new gate and fresh fences. Locked. I asked people around what happened. It’s not wickedness, i understand you and have experienced that alot. I get to understand there is envyness in most heart of people that don’t have or probably can never have what you acquire. Omo why are humans wicked ? A couple of minutes ago, I was driving to my shop from the market … a guy on bike was driving from behind and while he was trying overtake me and avoid a group of students beside him, he lost control of his bike and fell right in front of my car, immediately I stepped on my brake so I don’t run over him … I came down to check on him and the next thing I heard from the driver in the bus behind me was “na that guy jam am” … I was confused like what are you even saying, I walked to him and told him not to piss me off. I checked on the bike guy and entered my guy to leave, that’s how another person came from nowhere and said “why did you hit him” … like yooo, this is how people start false accusations and lynch innocent people, I had to go back to the bike guy and ask him if front of everyone if I hit him and he said “no” … as I was about going into my car so I can leave, the second guy that accused me of hitting the bike guy said “help am nah, carry am go hospital” …

We can't keep waiting for the world to bring industrial automation to Nigeria. We have to start building it ourselves. After 300+ hours of non-stop fabrication, spending more than 5kg in material, and gathering hundreds of individual components, this is the foundation of a 6-axis robotic arm built entirely from scratch. They say hardware is hard. Doing it here is even harder. But holding the pieces of what this could become is a feeling I can't quite describe. Let's see if all the math was right. Assembly begins tomorrow.

Yesterday i called a plumber to fix my tap head that got bad. He did a very excellent job within few minutes, i asked him how much,i had already set aside 10k budget plus or minus....he said N1500😳. In my head i said what would N1500 do for a family head like this....considering how honest he was as an artisan, i wired him 5k to his Opay account. His next reaction was epic. He instantly, tried to bend with one knee in appreciation. I told him no, no, oga sir we don't do like that here, thank you too. His happiness gave me another level of chilling emotions i could not explain and wished I had made it 10k. Yes, even in an era of digital skill awareness, we still need: 👉🏾Capenters 👉🏾Mechanics 👉🏾Plumbers 👉🏾Coblers 👉🏾Painters 👉🏾Nail technicians etc Learn to give them something extra.

I kept giving her advice about buying a winter coat just to stop myself from begging her to stay. When her flight to London was called, she hugged me at the door and whispered that she loved me. I could not say it back because it felt like a promise we could no longer keep, so I just told her to walk inside and not look back. I went back to our empty table and watched her flight board. We did not cheat and we did not fight. A system that does not care about love just decided our story was over.

The recent news from Maiduguri, Borno State, is profoundly upsetting. I mourn those who lost their lives, sympathise with the injured and stand in solidarity with the people of Borno during this challenging time. I want to make it categorically clear that these acts of terror are the final desperate and frantic attempts by criminals and terrorist elements trying to instil and spread fear, as they are under constant pressure from our brave armed forces and security agencies operating in various theatres. We will continue to intensify our efforts against all criminal elements, wherever they may be. I must commend the courage and fighting spirit of our patriotic troops who successfully repelled the coordinated attacks by these terrorists on military positions in the state. The Monday attacks were desperate acts of the evil-minded terrorist groups. Our gallant military and civilian task forces will curtail and put them down. Just last weekend, during a security meeting with leaders of security and intelligence agencies, I approved additional equipment and operational support to enhance their capabilities. This effort is already in progress. Additionally, I have directed security chiefs to move to Maiduguri to take charge of the situation. I have also directed the emergency agencies to provide proper care for the injured. There is no place in Nigeria where terrorists will find safety.
