Yesterday, Parliament passed a Ugx 8,104,000,000,000 supplementary budget.
Of this, Ugx 6,113,000,000 is going to pay for T-shirts. 🤔🤔🤣🤣
No wonder @DailyMonitor called it "Election-inspired Supplementary"

No highway should have a pothole. Please report it whenever you find it.
We recently declared “a no pothole” campaign and we hope we can have it sustained through the In-house Construction Unit.
The Unit has already handled bottlenecks on the most pothole riddled highways in the country starting with Gayaza-Kalagi [it returns soon to handle remaining spots] , Kampala-Jinja and now on Mubende-Kyegegwa Road.

If you've never experienced or heard of malicious incompetence, try registering a car for a number plate in Uganda.
A process that used to take hours, now takes a minimum of two weeks!!
And these chaps will take advantage of the situation to try and extort people mbu express!

@Leinahlu In my opinion, I think such occurrences come down to a blend of culture, upbringing, and like you said, the willingness to do it. Not so long ago, I saw Davido, a grown man wearing a full suit kneel before another gentleman. In some cultures, that is the epitome of respect.

@JoshuaNotBaraka When I finished uni, I decided not to pursue anything else until I choose a career. With my Statistics, I failed to get a job in M&E but got as accountant and then i went for ACCA. No regrets so far.
I think it's unreasonable to do ACCA and M&E. Those are two different careers.

At this rate, we may have to hear from those that have studied these professional courses (CPA, ACCA, CIPS, PMP, CMA, CFA, CISSP, CISA, Data Science etc..)
