Just get off it Matt. You don't understand persuasion and how to persuade people and Zohran does, that's how he came from 1 percent in the polls and beat the most famous political family in New York. There are lessons in that even if not every political territory is the same.

A lot of leftists talk about Mamdani's political successes as if the problem Democrats have been wrestling with is how to win elections in New York City, but obviously if Ohio voters had the same values and ideas as New Yorkers there would be no problem to discuss.

Some interesting numbers from the Marist Poll of @NYCMayor where @ZohranKMamdani is enjoying high approval ratings with 76/82% of liberals/very liberal. But the numbers show an incredible amount of crossover appeal: - Mamdani won over more than 1 of every 4 voters who didn't vote for him - 27% of Republicans and 40% of moderates - Black demo has highest support, 67%! With Latinos second at 58% and whites at 51% - Jewish approve/disapprove only 3 pts less than Catholic - Only 11 pts difference between Jewish approval and disapproval - Majority of seniors approve, similar to 30-44 age group! - Majority of EVERY boro approve, except Staten Island - Only 3pts difference between people who make under 50K and over 50K - Only 4 pts difference between college and non college educated. - When Israel is moved out of the equation, 63% of Jewish New Yorkers said Mamdani "understands the problems facing understands the problems facing New York City" and is "working hard" - Almost half of Republicans say Mamdani is a hard worker.
