@DirtFishRally Arguably, with less aero/down force, the new 2027 era WRC cars should be as spectacular if not more so. They might not be as fast in the fast corners, but they'll likely be more sideways. That's my two cents

@JimBeaver15 That's what I was doing mostly was the longer conversations. Reviewing an event with a competitor can be included, but definitely prefer a conversation vs just listing out a bunch of stats. Much more enjoyable. Thanks for the saying you'd like me back. Means a lot coming from you

Yeah I had to reset how I did things. Mine is more conversation based now instead of event recaps and quick interviews. It became unenjoyable. Now I interview who I want and as long as I want, and it’s become a good outlet for me. Im also fortunate to have national syndication and partners, so it’s definitely kept me going even on weeks I don’t feel like it. Would love to see you back at it.

@marshallpruett @Indy_Aimee I'm all for 2nd chances, like "The Dinger" eventually got, albeit not with a return to IndyCar. That said, I also wonder if RP had Cindric in a holding pattern until the "Independent Officiating Board" was finalized so there'd be less push back on his return.

@DirtFishRally Could be argued both ways. An extremely healthy championship with more drivers winning and bigger consequences for not scoring points. Or what she's implying with not enough top level competition and a good driver only shows up periodically. Reminds me of the specialists era.

@DirtFishRally No. Typically at most events the Open 2WD and Limited 2WD are the more competitive classes. And in regional the NA4WD is usually the one with competitors trading stage wins. Nice to see L4WD get a little closer, but it's still not, on average, the closest competition.

There's expected to be ~30 classic WRC machines at Central European Rally this year 👀 A Metro 6R4 and Walter Röhrl's Ascona SR are among the cars which will conduct untimed "Slowly Sideways" demo runs between the main event 😮‍💨

@MaximumAttackDT I think it also doesn't help when the more recent versions of special edition vehicles is mainly badging. There's so little value in the marked up price, so the self-fulfilling prophecy is that car makers stop making them due to low demand.

This is the Skoda Fabia Rally2. No not that one, but a limited edition road car for the Spanish market that uses a 190bhp 1.5 TSI engine and features OZ Racing wheels and a wild paint job. I miss cars like this. It's so sad that the B-segment hot hatch market is all-but dead.
