@CanonUKandIE It’s just a shame that the R5 II doesn’t work as advertised; I’m in Tanzania for a month with a new #Canon #R5 MkII and it is impossible to upload images from the camera to an iPhone/iPad. I’m not the only one - the forums are full of unhappy customers.

@acatcalledkeith Appalling treatment. And it does not need to be like this. There’s a branch of #McDonalds in #Mios in #France (just off the #A63) staffed almost exclusively by people who find it difficult to interpret the world around them. It’s an excellent reason to stop when passing by.

So what is the #Spanish for cranberry? The dictionary says ‘arándano’ but that also seems to mean blueberry, which is a totally different fruit. Entonces, ¿cómo se dice ‘cranberry’ en español? #dudaRAE #LanguageLearning #langchat

@abigailamey Neither is it possible to park anywhere without adding to one’s collection of hopeless apps.

@abigailamey Yes, I’m unsure that she was ever a renowned supplier of biscuits.

@mmamas1973 Agree. What manager working in a healthcare setting repeatedly ignores information coming from seven highly-trained medical professionals?

This is so messed up- paediatricians that raised concerns were forced to write letters of apology to the UKs biggest murderer of babies and were reprimanded - and managers who covered up her actions have had no consequences. Doctors ended up going to the police themselves as the hospial wouldnt
Sangita Myska@SangitaMyska

Paediatricians realised that Lucy Letby was on duty every time there was an “unexpected catastrophic event” that led to the deaths. Letby took out a grievance against the doctors. She won, and the consultants were forced to make a written apology to the murderer. 2/

@PaulBroady4 @PA @DannyHalpin17 Not sure where you think Europe is. We’ve recorded our highest ever temperatures in Spain. UK is having v. cold weather and we are having v. hot weather due to ‘climate change’ - a change to normal weather patterns. This is caused by global warming (which is a *global* average).

@SwordBloodStone @ChristianCamara @Culture_Crit Yes and so they should. Friendly, welcoming, with easy access for all, both to the building and its facilities and to the books. Voluminous rooms stuffed with dusty old books reached by climing long ladders do not inspire; they intimidate.

@Pavldozer For avoidance of doubt, this wasn't destroyed by air raids. This was torn down voluntarily in the name of "efficiency". The brutalist blight that replaced it was then knocked down a few decades later and replaced with this even worse eyesore.
