When I listen to Winky D, I’m not just vibing to music—I’m attending a lecture. His songs aren’t crafted for the club or the dancefloor; they’re classrooms. Propaganda, for instance, doesn’t just slap sonically—it interrogates. It exposes how we’ve been fed lies, how truth has become a casualty in the theatre of politics, and how our TVs, radios, and newspapers have become tools of deception rather than sources of enlightenment.
This isn’t entertainment for me—it’s education. Winky D is that rare artist who reminds me of the thinkers I’ve studied—Fanon, Biko, Ngũgĩ—the ones who used words to wage war on ignorance. With every lyric, he challenges the way we see power, media, and even ourselves. He’s not just singing; he’s decoding society.
So when I listen, I don’t dance. I reflect. I question. I grow. This is mass conscientization. This is scholarship—raw, rhythmic, and rooted in our reality.
Zimbabwe’s greatest reggae dancehall singer, Winky D, has released one of the best reggae songs ever written by a Zimbabwean artist, titled Propaganda.
Winky D is the people’s musical voice—he sings about the suffering of Zimbabweans and goes against the grain of artists who sing to please the regime.
The song was produced by one of the biggest international reggae sound system selectors and music producers, Dynamq (real name Kennedy Ongele Lorya), who originally comes from South Sudan.
Winky D has an Extended Play album called Pabho, and you can purchase or stream it through the following platforms: Qobuz, Apple Music, or Amazon Music.
More life to this lyrical genius who has become the conscience of the nation’s youths!

Nelson Chamisa has no relationship with Kuda Tagwireyi. If such a connection were to be established, I would be the first to publicly disown him. Furthermore, contrary to speculation, Chamisa is not a member of any SDA prayer group and no such platform exists as affords him the opportunity to meet in prayer with Tagwireyi or for any purpose. In fact, Chamisa is not a Seventh-Day Adventist.

@GutuObert VaGutu, zve flag mu classroom ndozvidiki zvacho. Let's start with building schools, equip them with adequate ICT equipment, sound library etc. Imbomirai kukoshesa zvidiki
When I advocate for the placement of the Zimbabwe national flag in all classrooms/lecture theatres etc from ECD/kindergarten up to university level, I'm not, by any stretch of the imagination, suggesting that it's not important to adequately equip our learning institutions as well as empowering our teachers, lecturers & indeed, all stakeholders within the education value chain. Only a simplistic mind would decode that I'm saying putting the national flag in every place of learning is the be-all & end-all of inculcating the spirit of patriotism in our children. A sound education comes with a complete package, including but certainly not limited to :
- providing modern infrastructure such as properly & adequately built & equipped classrooms, lecture theatres etc
- incentivising all stakeholders within the education value chain such as teachers, lecturers, administrators etc with competitive remuneration packages
- designing curricula that speaks to modernity & is consistent with the need to industrialise & spearhead the new industrial revolution
- focusing on ensuring food security as well as developing sustainable strategies to combat the hazardous impact of climate change
That said, we should never, ever lose sight of the symbiotic connection between educational advancement with the general rebooting of the national economy.

Gas tanks shld be kept outside the house it's very safe ,the issue is in case of fire or leak it's easier to shut it off outside rather than when it's inside. The only way to effectively extinguish gas fire is by shutting off the valve. However there is conflict btwn safety and security. Outside some thieves may come and take the tank this why some end up putting the tanks inside. The best way is to have somewhere secure outside .
Someone is selling these little LP Gas tanks on social media. This is not a new concept but it is an alternative way to store your tank. In theory it's much safer for you as the rank is outside where it's well ventilated. What do you think?
Today was prize giving day at Maranatha Junior School where my son got an academic achievement award. We celebrated this award and unbeknown to us grade seven results were to come out after 1600hrs hours. At around 1700hrs, I received a message from my son with the words, "Dad I did it". The message was accompanied by a screenshot of the results indicating he got six units. My wife and the mother then called and she was crying. These were tears of joy. I am grateful and appreciate the extra commitment that Tapona put towards his work.I witnessed the boy enduring long nights doing CALA, revising and being asked unending questions. I wish him well as he says hello to Secondary education. My son you have exceeded what I and your mother failed to achieve when we wrote our examinations some years back. I recall I got 9 units. Praise be to the Lord of Host, the one who makes us do everything through his strength.Welldone Soko!
