I just found out that if you've had Shingles you can't get the vaccine! I mentioned to my doctor while she was preparing the injection, that I had a mild case of shingles in 2020 and never want to go through that again. That's when she told me that I couldn't get the vaccine, because if you've had Shingles will immediately have a breakout!

Anyone get the shingles vaccine? I keep putting it off but I feel like it is time.

@KeruboSk I have a team of 4… I’ve clearly communicated that we can only afford one person off at a time unless there is a family emergency, illness, etc. PTO is requested and approved before plans are booked. We start vacation discussions in January. Two years in, I’ve yet to deny PTO.

Anonymous: My manager just denied my PTO for my son’s Spring Break because she is going on a cruise that week and she “can’t find anyone else to work” because another coworker is also taking off for their child’s break … I gave a months notice and already booked the vacation.
