Tonight, Newport City Council will be discussing a request from the school committee to use bond premiums to complete funding for the new Rogers HS.

Newport City Council met yesterday with Smart Growth America, a national org residents independently hired to consult on equitable development in the city's North End.
Last month, the Council adopted a much-anticipated plan for redevelopment of the area.
