Just wanna say: We stand with @jessepollak and the @base team always. They’ve supported $DEGEN from the beginning—publicly and behind the scenes—and that support helped us grow into what we are today. Jesse backing meme culture isn’t a rug, it’s recognition. Meme coins brought people, attention, and energy to Base. I get why some in the Base community felt let down. Base and Solana are just different. Solana moves fast, thrives on memes and momentum. Base feels more grounded—tied to Coinbase, trust, long-term apps, and onboarding the next 1 billion users. Different vibes, both valid. DEGEN chose Base because we believe in that long-term vision. We’re building long-term (our Farcaster mobile app drops this summer) and we’re here for the future—not just for a moment. Jesse gets that. He’s been with us since day one, and we’re proud to be building on @base.
