WELCOME NEW FOLLOWERS 🙏🏽 If you're new to my commentary: I'm a political independent — I don't support either establishment party or their corporate media mouthpieces. I'm a follower of Jesus (not of organized religion), and I believe we are called to protect the vulnerable and oppressed. I grew up a hunter and gun owner, was a child conscript, and survived a decade in a war zone. Which is why I find human violence, in all its terrible forms, to be a scourge on our planet. I've been working in national politics for 25 years, and I've come to recognize that Americans are among the most propagandized people in the world. I believe in liberty and justice for ALL, freedom of speech and religion, due process, and our Constitutional right to protest. I respect those who are willing to defend their principles under all circumstances, not just when it fits a partisan agenda. I believe in honor, loyalty, integrity, fairness, family, and community. I believe no one in America (or anywhere) should be homeless, hungry, or lack health care. I don't want my government subsidizing war crimes or fighting other people's conflicts. I respect healthy debate and disagreement, but I have no tolerance for duopoly talking points and spin. Most importantly, I believe we must treat each other with compassion, kindness, and love. Under bombs in Beirut in the 80s, I played piano to find some inner peace. Sadly, here I am in 2026 watching bombs fall again on Beirut. So I sat at my keyboard and played something to seek a moment of peace. ☮️ 🙏🏽
