Funny how big scandals sometimes peak right when a major war starts.
When damaging evidence about powerful people begins getting attention, the headlines suddenly shift. Court documents, investigations, and uncomfortable questions are replaced by maps, missiles, and breaking news from overseas.
People stop talking about the scandal and start talking about national security.
Maybe it’s coincidence. Maybe it’s just how the news cycle works. Or maybe when the spotlight gets too close to powerful circles, a bigger story suddenly appears to pull everyone’s eyes somewhere else.

Interesting comments… simple answers to most of them- this is called a ( SurDO2)
Surface decompression on oxygen.
Divers pulled from water quickly after necessary in water decompression stops if any are required. Decompression in water is timely and sea conditions may not allow for it. Rather than spend time dangling from umbilical and pulled slowly to the surface over the period of which could be hours… the diver is pulled rapidly from the water before the decompression sickness (bends) nitrogen bubbles in blood can occur. 3-5 minutes ideally after passing the 50 feet water mark is safe.
The diver is then undressed by his team removing wet materials static materials metals and anything that could possible spark in an oxygen rich environment. A chamber fire is horrific and always deadly. The chamber is then pressurized simulating the water depth the diver was previously working at and a schedule of oxygen is given to the diver to speed the body off gassing process. The pressure is the slowly reduced simulating the diver slowly returning to the surface. Chambers speed the decompression process and immensely and allow another diver to take his place in the process. They’re are other methods of diving and decompression. This however is the most common for commercial diving. It’s a wild career and the slightest mistakes with end a life. But is sure is fun!

@HowThingsWork_ Closest group I ever had was my dive team. Your friends watching out for you in the water and chamber requires a tight bond.
