Reflecting on the profound impact of my dear friend and Salesforce board member Susan Wojcicki. Susan was a trailblazer in the industry, an exemplary mother, and a cherished friend. We shared so many fun family events and elegant programs celebrating her incredible success. She had a remarkable ability to lead with grace and vision, lighting up every interaction with her wisdom and warmth. Her kind heart, wise counsel, and philanthropic spirit touched countless lives. My thoughts are with her surviving mother Esther, sisters Janet and Anne, her husband Dennis Troper, and her beloved children. Susan's legacy of leadership and love will forever inspire us. May the One who brings Peace bring Peace to All. ❤️

So whilst I applaud the progress and positivity made in so many areas with gender equality. I am also broken hearted at the loss of another mother, sister, wife, human.

But it seems hard to think about that today as I read two articles. The arrest of a 22 year old man over the disappearance of Samantha Murphy a Ballarat mother of 3, and of serial rapist Wayne Astill Maybe this years theme should be “Protect Women: accelerate safety”

We often talk about the theme of IWD. This year it is “Invest in women: Accelerate progress." A good and noble theme, as clearly progress is not where we want it or where it should be. And I desperately want gender equity, a human rights issue to be achieved for everyone.

Sadly it is not only in the dark they need to be cautious, but in the brilliant rays of a sunny morning or under the guard of someone with a duty of care .

I reflected on the many conversations I have with my daughters, counselling them to not be alone at night, to watch their drinks, and to keep an eye on their “sisters”.

Not been on twitter much. Great to see great satire at work. Brilliant. Well done sir!
