It's kind of wild that St. John's fans only bother to show up in large numbers against UConn to try and dig at the Storrs South thing. That's all they care about. They have no issue with Providence having larger numbers than them in their own arena. Just us.

Weak take. I was at the game and this was not the PC team’s “one goal.” They had just fought back from a 12-point deficit to take a 1-point lead. There’d been no brawling to that point, and the Friars were in the game - they were not resorting to brawling cuz they couldn’t win.

Clearly Providence players had one goal in mind. If they can't beat St. John's, they were going to turn this into an ugly street brawl. After the dust settled from that melee, I give St. John's players a ton of credit for keeping their composure when the chippiness continued.

Micah Shrewsberry needs to be suspended for this. You can’t go after a ref even when the ref costs you a road win like this.
That said, the ref needs to be suspended as well. This is atrocious, unacceptable and changed the outcome of a game unfairly. It’s obvious they’re trying to foul intentionally up by three. You don’t give them the first two then call *THAT*?!?
