Cote lab-The KAT in the HAT
Indeed, clearly supporting the idea that NuA4/TIP60 does not use the same molecular mechanism as SRCAP to engage nucleosomes in order to incorporate H2A.Z. The multiplicity of histone mark reader modules in NuA4 likely playing a role.
The Nogales Lab@NogalesLab

Please also take a look at related work by @rklouder and Carl Wu at @HopkinsMedicine diving into different functional states of the human SRCAP remodeler and a comparison with TIP60. Recently out in @biorxivpreprint biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Over the moon about my postdoc work ⁦@ScienceMagazine⁩ ! Ever wonder about how mammalian cells selectively degrade unwanted nuclear proteins without involving ubiquitination? Check out our paper on a non-canonical protein degradation mechanism! science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…

Incredibly excited to share that I will be joining the #HHMINEWS family as a Freeman Hrabowski Scholar. This award will fund our work on neuroimmunological mechanisms of brain development and function over the next 5 - 10 years.
