This week, Adam from Hartlepool Food Partnership visited nursery to read a story. We had lots of fun bringing the characters to life and exploring different fruits together, with everyone enjoying the chance to try some new tastes. 🍎📚

On Friday, the School Council introduced British Science Week during assembly. They explained that this year’s theme is Curiosity and encouraged everyone to start thinking like scientists by asking questions and exploring the world around them.

Class 4 were delighted to welcome Year 6, who came to share stories and read with the class. It was a lovely opportunity for the pupils to enjoy books together and celebrate a shared love of reading.

Class 4 & Class 5 celebrated British Science Week with a fun investigation!
The pupils experimented to discover which material would make the best hanky. They tested different materials with water to see which absorbed it most effectively and discussed their results together. 🧪

🥣 MORE FREE BREAKFAST CLUBS FOR HARTLEPOOL 🇬🇧 Labour is rolling out 500 more free breakfast clubs, including Stranton Primary. Nearly 1,000 local children get a healthy breakfast, saving parents up to £450 a year. A real boost for families.

Saw everything wrong with youth football y’day - parents threatening players, a lad punched on pitch, threats after game, social media posts mocking team/players…. What has football become? Shameful scenes I am still so furious about today - something has to change @DurhamFA
