You want the NATO allies to join you in a war you started without ever consulting these allies about the war or explaining your war aims. We’re meant just to meekly fall in line. You recently supported a US invasion of a NATO ally (Denmark/Greenland) but now you want these same allies to join your war. Your president disparaged and misrepresented the role of NATO allies in Afghanistan. But now you want them to join with you again in a war of your making. You went to war with Iran without a thought of how to keep the Strait of Hormuz open and without involving your allies in the matter. But now you want the NATO allies to bail you out, even though there’s still no plan for Hormuz. You want the NATO allies to join you in a war in which you still cannot articulate the endgame. Or what victory would look like. You went to war thinking the Iranian regime would quickly topple, that Tehran would not attack the Gulf States or close Hormuz. Why would we align with such Epic Stupidity? You and other know-nothing blowhards started this war all on your own. You can finish it on your own. If you’re able to …
Lindsey Graham@LindseyGrahamSC

Just spoke to @POTUS about our European allies’ unwillingness to provide assets to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning, which benefits Europe far more than America. I have never heard him so angry in my life. I share that anger given what’s at stake. The arrogance of our allies to suggest that Iran with a nuclear weapon is of little concern and that military action to stop the ayatollah from acquiring a nuclear bomb is our problem not theirs is beyond offensive. The European approach to containing the ayatollah’s nuclear ambitions have proven to be a miserable failure. The repercussions of providing little assistance to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning are going to be wide and deep for Europe and America. I consider myself very forward-leaning on supporting alliances, however at a time of real testing like this, it makes me second guess the value of these alliances. I am certain I am not the only senator who feels this way.

Imagine if intel officials told the media that Ukraine was sending intel and drone tech to Iran to help kill US forces. Or that ANY country other than Russia was doing it. Imagine the righteous rage from the Trump admin and the GOP. But when it's Russia, meek little mice.
WarTranslated@wartranslated

U.S. Permanent Representative to NATO Matthew Whitaker said there is no public evidence of Russia participating in the ongoing conflict alongside Iran.

Reform’s position on the war - 9 March, Economic spokesperson Robert Jenrick: ‘this war needs to come to an end as soon as possible because it is making Britain poorer….that’s why Nigel Farage immediately ruled out suggestions that the UK might deploy boots on the ground. Nor do we see why British aircraft should become involved in offensive action.’ Daily Telegraph 8 March, Reform Deputy Leader Richard Tice,: ‘We wld be helping the Americans and the Israelis in any way they saw appropriate’ GB News  28 February Reform leader, Nigel Farage ‘ The Prime Minister needs to change his mind on the use of our military bases and back the Americans in this vital fight against Iran!’  Post on X

Don’t let Fox get away with it this time. Spread the word. Fox & Friends Weekend replaced footage of Trump attending yesterday’s Dover AFB dignified transfer with a clip from December 17, 2025. They clearly didn’t want their Trump-supporting audience to see Trump disrespecting fallen soldiers wearing that baseball cap. H/T: @BadFoxGraphics

I’m not a fan of Starmer, but whatever he does – literally whatever he does - he is ripped apart, ripped to shreds, by the telegraph, Mail, express, Sun, spectator, the very same people who installed Boris Johnson and the appalling Liz Truss. The same people who installed the governments that caused Brexit and the financial chaos that has ensued, the same people who have driven this country into the ground. I’m sick to death of them. They are the biggest threat to this country and all of us across the board, no matter what our politics are. We need to get billionaires out of the Media

@mikoh123 Call me cynical, but it's as if NF is deliberately toxifying Reform to create a scenario similar to that of UKIP in 2016 so he can slide out of politics without the burden of actually delivering on his promises. I wouldn't be surprised to see him quit before the end of the year.

Jon Sooel - You were a remainer when Cameron was PM, you were a brexiteer under Boris, you said it was shameful that Truss was still in the party but voted for her budget & now that the Tories are languishing in the polls you go to the party leading in the polls. #bbcqt

Where are the journalists? This is a scandal of the highest order! The vilest of men conspire to be 'king makers' and there is not a peep from the media! WHY?
Damian Low@DamianLow3

So emails now show Johnson's route to PM was planned by a team of Steve Bannon, Jeffrey Epstein, and Nigel Farage who wanted to overthrow May. Assume media will be deeply scrutinising Farage’s role in this today?

I’m genuinely confused. We’re dumping Epstein files, parading names, laying out rape and pedophilia like it’s a damn spreadsheet, and then… nothing. No arrests. No perp walks. No accountability. So what’s the plan here exactly? Are we just supposed to stare at this filth, rage-scroll, and pretend exposure equals justice? Because right now it feels like the system is saying, here’s the proof, here’s the monsters, now go back to work and shut up. If this isn’t followed by real consequences, then all this “truth” isn’t a reckoning — it’s just another sick reminder that there are two sets of rules, and the worst people somehow never play by either
