"Nobody has slept in this house in the last 2 years💔. Clothes still dey the wardrobe. Clothes still dey inside the washing machine. The kitchen is still intact aside from perishables. Your room is still intact down to the toothbrush you used that morning." Late actor Jnr. Pope's wife, Jennifer, shares as she mourns him 2 years after his tragic death. Guys pls I need help, someone reached out to me that she wants to make handfan for herself and her asoebi girls. She did and paid in full. Later she asked me to help her get souvenirs and I did, too, she said she needs to rent suits, 8 pairs of suits which I wasn't having. I had only 4 suits for rent so I tried helping her source elsewhere and only got 2 more suits for her making 8 suits altogether.

APC is a political party less than 15 years old. Yorùbá is a civilisation that has been around for over 3000 years. Face APC and leave Yoruba ethnicity, culture and women out of your hate train.

“There was a protest in Abuja yesterday, it was also my birthday, and majority of Twitter influencers left the protest and was talking about me; Why I didn’t come out for the protest? “VeryDarkMan is working for APC”, everywhere on twitter was about VDM. They said my DSS video the other day was because I wanted to stop and scar£ people from protesting. I don't see what happened yesterday as a protest, i see it as a campaign. It is a political interest movement. If they had come out to protest about fuel price, insecurity, or taxation, the common man would understand.” VeryDarkMan finally addresses all the accusations that has been laid on him

Someone made a tweet like this in 2026 against Yoruba women and there are people, both male and female, who found it genuinely funny.

Feminist, but you hate yoruba women. This is someone I see some top yoruba feminists kikiki with. Since 2013 o 😂🤦🏾‍♀️, I have a folder full of this for you to know how bad it is, but I’ll keep them for later. When I tell you some of these feminists will throw you under the bus just because you’re Yoruba, the hatred that they have for you as a Yoruba woman, you don’t want to know. She literally called us an animal and even inserted colourism at a point! For how long will we keep quiet about this? This is why we are telling skit makers and movie actors to stop portraying Yoruba women in such negative stereotype. We don’t find it funny! Yoruba women aren’t loose, dirty or ugly. We are one of the most fashion forward, beautiful and educated women in Nigeria. We care about our health and we’re not automatic infection carriers like it’s been portrayed on here. My question is, what did we do to deserve this??? We are just fun loving people that likes to achieve great things and celebrate with owanbe, wearing our gele and aso ofi. Yoruba women, know who you call your friends!

I don't think anyone should lose their job for stupidity over 13 years ago to be very honest. Disturbing as those tweets were.

This is not about what she tweeted in 2013 alone. How about the DM she sent to someone yesterday talking about “All Yoruba women should die of hunger “ ??? Huh???
-valar morghulis-@eldivine

Good morning everyone. Very late yesterday I was tagged in screenshots of some tweets made by a senior executive at @Risevest around 2013 and earlier that give us very serious concerns. To avoid a knee jerk response, I forward same to our leadership team immediately I received them and this morning we have initiated an internal review and have convened a meeting with our whole team to handle this with the seriousness it requires. To be clear, Risevest was started by myself, Bosun Olanrewaju and Tony as a company that is a home to everyone who wants to do great work, with respect and love for every group of people. While these comments are from years before we even conceived of the company, they are not casual and they are too serious to be dismissed as "shitposting". They most definitely do not reflect the values of our company and so far we have not seen any evidence that this reflects the character or actual actions of the executive in question. However, we want to assure everyone offended by it that we fully understand why anyone would be offended by such statements and have commenced an internal review of the executive's work and conduct to determine the right course of action. As many of you have witnessed over the years, when any matters like these are in concern, we handle it firmly, thoroughly and without favoritism no matter who is involved at any level. We thank everyone who has raised this concern and ask that we be given time to ensure this matter is handled well not only for the sake of those who have raised the issue but also for the sake of our team members, stakeholders and every other person who such comments have offended. Thank you Regards, Eke Eleanya Urum CEO, Risevest.
