India truly is a nation of dead morality. A 6-year-old girl was raped, and when her parents took her to the hospital, the staff said they couldn't treat her without a legal medical report. For 8 hours, from 2 PM until 10 PM, the child was shuttled between the trauma center and the hospital. Deprived of care, she spent those hours in agony. The trauma she endured is beyond my imagination. I can't even fathom the pain that little soul felt. To be born female in India is nothing short of a curse.

ऐसे मिलता है UP में इलाज! गाजीपुर में 6 साल की बच्ची से दुष्कर्म हुआ. बच्ची को ब्लीडिंग हो रही थी. पेरेन्ट्स थाने सूचना देने के बाद अस्पताल आये. डॉक्टरों ने कहा मेडीकोलीगल के बिना इलाज शुरू नही होगा. दोपहर 2 बजे से रात 10 बजे तक मेडीकल के लिए ट्रामा और अस्पताल के बीच बच्ची को चक्कर लगवाते रहे. इलाज नही मिला. बेचारी बच्ची मां-पिता की गोद में बेतहाशा पीड़ा में गुमशुम बैठी रही.

The assault left her severely traumatized, and she later attempted to take her own life by jumping from a building. She survived the fall but was left paralyzed from the waist down.
