My real name is Precious Powell I reside at 1 Mapes Avenue, Apt2C, Newark NJ 07112 and I find it incredibly hurtful and frustrating that not only does PSE&G NJ keeps allowing someone to illegally sign my home address up for 3rd party energy suppliers and refuse to reverse or discount the charges after I complain only agreeing to change my account number but now for nearly 3 weeks PSE&G customer service support refuses to speak to me over the phone even when I select to be called back in the automated system no one calls me back PSE&G is intentionally avoiding me but dated to threaten me with a shut off notice this month for a little under $800.00 when I've know people who've owed PSEG over $1,000 before they were threatened with a shut off notice smh leaving this here because apparently I'm unable to message anyone on X Twitter at the moment for reasons unknown!

After consulting with our PSEG Engineering Supervisor and reviewing the site conditions, we confirmed that the issue was not caused by PSEG equipment or activity. The sinkhole appears to be the result of damage to the cement surrounding the pole. That cement work was not installed or maintained by PSEG, so responsibility for repairs would fall to the party who originally installed or maintains that structure. It is likely Verizon, or the contractor responsible for the tree installation in that area, which may be addressed through the city. We recommend reaching out to the appropriate provider (Verizon and/or Jersey CIty officials) so they can address the issue. If you need any additional information from our review, we’re here to help.
