They’re both tired old men that have not strength & power to fight for much longer. Obi-Wan even says it to Luke, “I’m too old for this sort of thing”

Every single episode just makes this scene ever sadder. Obi Wan could feel his pain and it was probably the only time anyone ever held Maul. And it’s his biggest rival.
