@RonPaul IMO, the largest problem with Trump is that he wants to make the system work, and you can indeed clean up a corrupt system for awhile. But in the end, the problem isn't an ineffective system, but that the system just should not be doing most of what it's doing.
English

Despite candidate Trump's campaign promises, the financial status of the federal government continues to spiral downwards.
And, as always, more foreign wars have been chosen in lieu of taking care of America.
The debt cannot be ignored. Federal entitlements for the American people and the foreign wars cannot continue to coexist.
One has to go, and it should be the foreign wars.
This should be done before the economic pain becomes unbearable. That time is approaching very quickly.

@jimiuorio There was this lady at a state fair booth that got arrested for putting whitening strips on peoples teeth, because she didn't have a 7 yr dental degree. Seriously? This kind of crap needs to stop.
English

@Geiger_Capital Sounds unconstitutional, not that that's ever stopped them before.
English

@diditcuzican @LPNH True, the left would almost certainly use this to push for more votes for women, blacks, the poor, gays, and trans. To work long term, people would have to clearly understand the justifications for why they get more votes.
English

@rainyoutset @LPNH one of the issues I see is this compromise only sets a precedent that people can have more of the vote than others which depending on which Team™ has control will just use to buff up their votes and then set into place a forever "democracy" of one side.
English

We didn't ask for a democracy.
We're unfortunately trapped in a system where a 75IQ retard on welfare gets as much say as a working father who maintains his community.
Libertarians have to meet the world as it is.

@EricBrakey @ManchMayor @LPNational @LPNH You’re winning elections by people blindly voting down ballot R. It absolutely means something to have an R or a D next to your name. If it didn’t, you would have an L. But you people never do. You win on people who aren’t informed enough to know you’re lying about party.
English

@CodyLibolt Capital derives from the root word used for cattle. That's not a coincidence, it's because Europe was hard to govern under a single authority. Any time the cattle farmers had their property rights disrespected, they could migrate off to more friendly jurisdictions.
English

@YourAnonNews It's not the greedy billionaires, it the assholes who think govt regulations should have control in health care. Now they want to double down being assholes, and give govt 100% control.

English

@jackvlloyd @jackunheard End the public schools.
We need the separation of education and state.
English

@APompliano Consider this the punishment you get for letting the US government fuck with the health care system regulations ...

English

@RepEliCrane Consider this the punishment you get for not respecting the separation of education and state.
English

Can anyone justify this?

College tuition has increased 914% since 1983, per CNBC.
English

@esrtweet @MichaelFKane Most Christians have it as their core philosophy that people have free will, and that God loves us. That makes the extremes of communism impossible, though they can still be violent when paired with government authority. But, that's they case with all government.
English

You've missed the deeper connection.
Marxism occupies the same psychological receptors as Christianity. It's a faith-based monotheism that disguises itself as a non-religion by disclaiming any belief in the supernatural.
But that is, in fact, a disguise. And when monotheism stops being the frame through which you view religion (a liberation that even Western skeptics and atheists seldom achieve) you realize that the differences between Christianity and Marxism are quite superficial.
That's why Marxism is so effective "parasitizing" Christianity. Because between those two systems, the mythology is different, but the psychology of belief is identical.
English

Two things in be true at once.
1. Marxism is a fundamentally secular atheist metanarrative.
2. Due to Marxism's roots in a culturally Christian Europe, it is uniquely adept at parasitizing Christianity.
More Christians need to be aware of the vulnerability and how Marxism can exploit and warp our sense of justice and mercy for it's own ends.

@ThePholosopherX @TeamYouTube We're coming into the congressional election season, that's what's going on.
English

Wow. So YouTube claims my content isn't authentic despite the overwhelming majority of my videos being videos of myself on camera and my own music recorded live in a studio.
@TeamYouTube I've been a content creator with you for over a decade.
What's going on right now?

@EricBrakey @LPNational The only strategy for liberty that is working in America is the Free State movement.
Some Libertarians in other states are really bitter about that.
It's much more comfortable to blame us for their failures than recognize the truth.
English

There is a lot of talk about @LPNational disaffiliating @LPNH at the upcoming National LP Convention.
This would be a foolish move. It would amount to nothing but a virtue signal.
The same people will show up for the organizing of the new affiliate and win again — just as they have for several cycles now.
There are many tribes in the liberty movement of NH. If you don’t want this particular one running LPNH, then you should move to New Hampshire, organize your Liberty tribe, and take it from them at the next state convention.
And if you are not willing to do that and you still don’t like what they say, then ignore them and build something of your own where you are to express liberty in the world how you want it.
Disaffiliation is a waste of time and a waste of energy. Do something productive and meaningful. You only have one life to advance liberty.
English

@KarolineGosling Unfortunately, there was probably no avoiding it. They would protest nonstop to infinity if we didn't.
The best solution probably isn't to take away their votes, but to give private sector workers who are net taxpayers, two votes.
English

It's pretty obvious at this point, that if you took the female vote away, most of the worlds problems would not be problems much longer.
I used to think allowing women to vote was a good thing.
But now, I know:
Female voting rights were most likely, a mistake.
It destroyed Western society, made women unhappier, and made men feel and be treated like they are unwanted.

English

@EricBrakey @jeremykauffman Some go for "philosophical purity" so they can come off like they are better than everyone else, others just want to be edge lords and act like rebels, but don't really care about liberty much otherwise.
English

I learned early in my activism that there are two kinds of libertarians:
1. Those who want to make liberty win.
2. Those who want to lose gloriously.
You see them in the kinds of battles they choose to fight. Some only pick battles that can never be won.
Losing is safe.
Winning is dangerous.
When you win, you take on responsibility for what comes next and you will be judged upon the results.
When you lose, you can be forever on the outside throwing stones — never responsible for anything that happens — and therefore always right that your imagined alternative would have been better.
English

Libertarianism is when you lose.
The more you lose, the more libertarian you are.
Per Bylund@PerBylund
Boohoo, libertarians will "get zero power." Imagine thinking that's a bad thing.
English

@brockpierson I'd promote seasteading. It has unique overlap with his mars ambitions.
English

@Noahpinion Bulkshit. They say they are against power structures, but infinite govt power is always the last to be dismantled. As in they are useful idiots.
English

@valdemaralt TBH it's more like fascism. Whenever socialist economies fail, they decide to allow you to keep your property as long as it serves the glory of the state above all else. The govt still controls everything though.
