So stances of "resurrections" like in Grimoire are handled like unique exceptions. The characters in GoS are not the ACTUAL people, they are "physical manifestations of written text", for example.

Oh my god the stitches across his torso he might be this games frankenstein monster. This is why he had his back facing the viewer in his first official art cuz seeing his torso would be a spoiler? It would explain why his chest tattoos have disappeared.
