Micro-Mapping Nature in Bengaluru! 🌳 We showed up last Sunday to map the hidden life of trees, and turn it into open data. VizChitra’s Bengaluru chapter hosted a walk through the leafy arteries of Indiranagar to explore and observe urban nature with intention.

On Friday, after a long time I wrote some simple P5js code while I was sitting in on @rasagy’s Creative coding class.

So @rasagy and I spent thursday at the NID, Bangalore Campus, introducing the current batch of students to the world of building with AI. Goal: Go from an idea to a live project in 3 hours.

Just wrapped an incredible workshop with @VizChitra mapping trees in Indiranagar using OpenStreetMap yest! 🌳🗺️ ~20 of us marked 150+ trees in our neighbourhood in under an hour. Mind-blowing what even a single determined person can do together with OSD today! Learnt the difference between Google Maps & open-source maps, and why open data matters - for work, for passion, for a lot more. P.S. @pkmfaris’s mapping of tabebuias was the talk of the day!

Real question: What’s the equivalent of Claude Code and Codex from Google with good free tier, free trial or relaxed limits?

@Kenneth It is the easiest transition from traditional graphic design. Making apps requires a deeper understanding of interaction patterns & shifts from presenting content to aiding user journeys.

Why are there so many website designs on entry level designer portfolios?? They all look like some theme ripoffs. 🤦🏾‍♂️

I've been collecting interface designs for 15+ years. every gesture, tool, menu that made me stop and think “wait how does this work”, “why does this matter?”, but also “who are the giants upon whom we build?” Now i want to publish it: “Interface Lineage”.

Tonight was a vibe. Built some fun art projects with some amazing people using Claude Code (and used CLI for first time). Thanks to Rhizome.org, Anthropic and MAP for hosting this!
