@smokesthegiant Korra has the biggest connection with the avatar spirit itself of any avatar we’ve ever seen and was the only avatar to spirit and spirit energy bend which is pretty impressive. she also had to deal with a lot more spirit world problems which helped her grow more connected.

"Korra lacks spirituality" Id say the one who connects the worlds is more spiritual that the one who merely meditates in them lol. Same character who can literally spirit bend, purifies spirits, connects the human and spirit worlds, and keeps the portals open.
