Peter Obi is the Best I have read those who do not know the qualities required of transformative leadership try to put Peter Obi down on the basis of degree type. This people do not know that real education starts after university. The genius of great political leaders is what they learn outside formal schooling. Peter Obi is very insightful, better than many first class people i know. A Nigerian First Class in economics does not know much about running an economy unless he has read more books on economic development, policy and history after degree. I do not have a formal economics degree but i am knowledgeable on economic policy because i have read a lot of economic policy books. In fact, some of economists friends claim i have a bigger library of economics than all Nigerian departments of economics I have interacted with professors and practical men and women of business. Oftentimes i find the practical men and women of business more informed about public policy than professors of one thing or the other. I have a doctorate degree from a famous school. But I have read more books after my doctorate. I am better informed not because of my doctorate degree but because of consistent efforts to learn and learn. Peter Obi is a student of leadership and governance. He knows more about economic and social transformation than many first class and doctorate degree graduates because he reads and listens to those who know. I know this because reading and learning are my lifelong commitments, and I have listened to Peter and many PhDs and he comes out far more informed than them. Today, Peter Obi has better knowledge of Nigeria’s economic and social crises and commitment to transforming the Nigerian condition than many first class and doctorate graduates. Peter Obi is the best.

This is not a mere oversight; it points to institutionalised corruption on a massive scale. In 1994, when the Okigbo Panel reported about $12.4 billion from the Gulf War oil windfall as unaccounted for, Nigerians were outraged and the nation shook with indignation. Today, an even more troubling situation appears to be unfolding, yet it is met with a disquietening silence. We are trapped in a lethal paradox: Earning more as a nation, yet having less to invest in healthcare, education, and infrastructure. From 2025, systemic “deductions” have allowed agencies to capture more resources than entire states and even critical ministries. These leakages explain why countries with fewer resources are out-performing us across key development indices. With such a broken system, how can we fix power, strengthen our schools, build resilient healthcare, or develop critical infrastructure? Nigeria has no business being poor. We must stop these leakages through disciplined, transparent leadership driven by character. It is time to redirect our hijacked resources back to the people and move Nigeria into the league of developed nations. In a normal country where people are normal and not under some demonic influence, after 2023, even after 2019, there isn’t supposed to be ANY APC supporter left amongst the people. Not one! But Nigeria is a very strange country.

This is the worst government in the history of Nigeria. I remember last week I treated a child who had gastroenteritis. They were charged, but they could not pay. After making every conscious effort to pay but no money. The father of the baby called me and told me he had bagsof corn to sell but nobody is buying. He said that the only money he had was used for the opening of card. I have to pay the money from my small earnings. Believe me, the economy is really harsh. People barely survive.
