Let me catch everyone up on what happened in Trenton yesterday: My colleagues across the aisle voted NO on my commonsense amendment to protect public safety from convicted violent criminals who are let back into our communities. What exactly are we prioritizing here in NJ?

Frankly, the scale of grassroots resistance to this rule has been unprecedented in recent New Jersey administrative history: of roughly 9,500 written comments submitted in the rulemaking process, more than 99% were opposed. 🌟 The Republican Renewal Summit was successfully held on February 28th by the Mercer County Republican Committee (MCRC) at Rider University. 🎯 The Summit marked a significant milestone, bringing together party leaders, elected officials, national figures, policy advocates, grassroots organizers and residents from across the state highlighting key issues such as health freedom, election integrity, affordability and technology aimed at strengthening Republican influence across the state. 🙌 Building on the momentum of the Summit, MCRC outlined upcoming initiatives, including workshops, volunteer mobilization efforts, and policy briefings. 🇺🇸 MCRC emphasized that the Republican Renewal Summit is not a one-time event, but the foundation for a long-term strategy to make Mercer County and New Jersey a competitive political landscape once again.

Mercer County Republicans held an extremely successful annual convention on March 3. The meeting was packed with about 150 attendees. McGuire - US Congress CD 12 – Gregg Mele - Mercer County Commissioners – Shaolin Brown & Don Ober - Mercer County Sheriff – David Meiswinkle - Mercer County Surrogate – Priscilla Devine The Mercer County Republican Committee was disappointed that U.S. Senate candidate Alex Zdan did not participate in the convention for his home county. Thank you to Chairwoman Pat Johnson and team who worked hard to put this convention together only a few days after running a successful Republican Renewal Summit the prior weekend.
