As you may know, Sri Lanka is facing a severe flood disaster, now with over 479 lives lost, 350 missing & 1 million people affected. CoinCeylon has launched an urgent Food Relief Program, and at the request of the @Cardano community, a donation wallet has been set-up. Details 🔽

Sri Lanka is facing its most severe flood disaster in decades, with over 334 lives lost, 370 still missing, and over 1 million people affected. The situation remains critical, and immediate support is urgently needed. CoinCeylon is launching an Emergency Food Relief Donation Program to provide essential food items to affected families. Following requests from the Cardano community, we have also opened a Cardano donation wallet for anyone who wishes to contribute. All funds will be directed toward on-ground relief. The impact of Cyclone Ditwah has been heartbreaking: 🔹 159 lives lost 🔹 203 people are missing 🔹 833,000+ affected 🔹 122,000+ displaced Entire communities have been washed away, communication lines disrupted, and thousands of families are now without homes, safety, or essentials. If you’re in a safe area, please check on those around you. If you’re abroad, please stay informed and support however you can. Sri Lanka is going through a very dark moment, lets keep the country in our prayers and stand with those who need us the most.

1/4 Cardano Summit 2025 in Berlin 🇩🇪 left me with a renewed sense of purpose. From governance sessions to ecosystem deep-dives, it was a reminder of how far we’ve come and how much potential still lies ahead for Cardano as it matures into real-world infrastructure.

Our Founder & CEO Kavinda Kariyapperuma represented @Coin_Ceylon at the Governance in Blockchain Workshop held at the Faculty of Law, University of Malaya 🇲🇾. The session explored decentralized governance on Cardano and the real-world challenges of implementing blockchain-based decision systems. It was a pleasure to engage with students, faculty, and members of the Cardano Malaysia community, alongside ecosystem contributions. A big thank you to the organizers, @unimalaya, @emurgo_io, and everyone who made this event possible.
