Despite left-wing attacks, the Missouri FIRST Map has been upheld. Our Office will continue defending the map and the legislature’s constitutional authority.

No, he is not a sinner. Not yet. What he has is the sin nature. However, if he, God forbid, passes before the age of accountability, that nature will not be counted against him. However, as he grows, one day, he will tell a lie, or act selfishly, or do hit a friend when he is not supposed to. All that, is an outworking of the human nature. And so, the expectation is that one day, he learns that by nature of being a human, he has inherited a flawed nature, which is evident by how he, like every other person, is naturally selfish. That is what the bible calls the “old man of sin” The good news is that by Faith in Jesus, that nature is changed, and by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, He becomes a new kind of man. One with a regenerated spirit. That is why He is saved.

According to a particular religion, my son who is only two weeks old, has never said a word, quite literally incapable of hurting anyone, can't make decisions and only relies on instincts, that boy is SOMEHOW a sinner????

Today, the court ruled what we have long known: the Missouri First Map is constitutional. With the dismissal of frivolous challenges from progressive activists, we’re one step closer to ensuring the Show Me State’s conservative values are adequately represented in Congress.

Appreciate the efforts of @AGCHanaway and her Solicitor General team in defending Missouri's congressional map in court. Missouri’s conservative, common-sense values should be truly represented at all levels of government, and the Missouri First Map delivers just that.

FULL VICTORY: A Jackson County Judge has thrown out a left-wing attempt to overturn the Missouri FIRST Map.  The Missouri FIRST Map remains the law of the land, fair, and constitutional.  Not done winning yet.

@KerryMSoileau @McClureShawn Is it really necessary to have an explanation for the world before one has a right to ridicule someone else's explanation? Shouldn't an explanation be able to "stand on it's own"?

@McClureShawn I don't think anybody has a problem with atheists not believing in god. I think people have a problem with atheists ridiculing people who do believe in god, without having any explanations for how the world around us arose.

Atheist: I don't believe in God. Theist: You don't know how the universe began or how life started or how consciousness works or where all the transitional fossils are or what our purpose is. And you sure as heck don't have any morals. Atheist: Uh-huh. I don't believe in God.

@MizzouHoops hi ... my daughter turns 21 today and I was wondering if there's any way to get her a shout-out on the scoreboard at the game today ? We're both big fans and have been going to games together for years.

@MiketheMoose3k @darwintojesus I presume, based upon your comment about standing before Brahman, etc, that you believe that Muslims or other non-Christian believers can still get into the Christian heaven? Just curious.

In all his rambling he never approaches anything close to answer to the question. We are all dumber for having listened to it. I award him 0 points. And may God have mercy on his soul. Ok joking aside. He treats all "disbelief" as substantially equal. Meaning that a total rejection of God is exactly the same as me not finding the writings of Mohammed compelling. When in actually what we are really asking about is a bit more nuanced. Fundamentally the religious person accepts a higher power that is good, and seeks to subject themselves to that higher power to the best of their ability to understand it. All religious persons share this same fundamental belief. So we have Hope, that even if in particular I am wrong about Allah, or Brahman or whatever, I appeal to Justice in that "I, flawed human, was in fact doing the best I could to understand and follow the Good" He, on the other hand, rejects the basic premise that there is even such a thing as Objective Good. So his "wrong" doesn't have the same essential nature as my "wrong" because I have the basic premise correct and am wrong about particulars. While he fully rejects the basic premise. So to the point there is no good rational reason for him to equate the consequence of me being wrong with him being wrong. He should fully expect that in the case we stood before say "Brahman" I would say "sorry I tried" I could hope for mercy based on honest effort and humility. Whereas he would say "I lived as real Good did not exist".

@MiketheMoose3k @darwintojesus The original question was "what if you're wrong about rejecting the christian god" and he pointed out the fact that the same question can be applied to other people practicing other faiths, and therefore isn't a compelling reason to argue that one should accept a particular one.

@rexmdickson @darwintojesus It's pretty much just all talk and rhetoric. It can sound convincing but Dawkins is not really dealing with the actual evidence he's just doing his best to diminish the Christian worldview by contrasting it with the flying spaghetti monster.

Unfortunately as long as an 18 year old freshman girl in college has the same voting power as a 45 year old business owning father of 3, the country will keep trending left. Theres no group project, team, or organization where the dumbest people have the same say as the smart ones except for voting.
Lacey Nagao@lacenagao

I’m a millennial (“emotional”) woman and this is my emotional rant of why conservatives are losing young women: I drove home yesterday after spending nearly a month in Phoenix, fighting for a hard fought win in Mesa, so excited for our team, but disheartened by the outcome of other races across the country. As a woman that works in politics, having dreamed of living in NYC as a little girl and still loves that city to this day, I was left alone with my thoughts for two hours. How in the world did a socialist just win 84% of the young women vote in NYC? How did 65% of women my age vote for a socialist? What needs to change? 4 things. 1) STOP THE ATTACKS. Women are emotional by nature. They vote with their emotions and heart more than pure “logic” (as men do) - we must recognize this and embrace it instead of saying things online like, “women are too emotional and shouldn’t be allowed to vote” or “women are so dumb.” - I saw this all over X yesterday. ATTACKING women is not how we will ever win them over. 2) Stop the infighting. Women are sick of it. I cannot tell you how many girlfriends that voted for Trump in 2024 have told me they are just “so tired of the divisiveness and no longer even want to be involved.” It’s exhausting. Millennial women are trying to raise babies, hold down a job, run a household, be a wife, and the last thing we have energy for is the battle of egos in male dominated politics. We will continue to lose the suburban women vote the longer we keep destroying each other - women are checked out and it’s a turn off. 3) STRONG MEN MATTER and we are lacking them. Mamdani was seen as the father and the husband that many of these women likely did not have in their lives. Women want to be taken care of and Mamdani has promised to do that. He is full of charisma and preyed on the emotions of young women and the void they are feeling. Strong men that respect women, protect women, that value their opinions instead of feeling threatened by them, that see women’s unique strengths as the perfect partnership from God to their masculine dominate traits - we need more of these men. 4) Economics and the family unit - this goes along with number 3 - we have to figure this out. If women are struggling to survive financially, cannot buy a house, struggle to make ends meet each month, work a job that pays barely enough to cover the cost of child care, and have been promised an “American Dream” that they feel is duped - they are naturally going to run to the man who offers a false sense of safety and security. …. and yes I realize all 4 of these points have a “feelings” or emotional component - but that’s exactly the point.
