@steveprioruk Don't get me started on saddle design... I often wonder about this exact phenomenon and have concluded that it's a simultaneous failure of both exposure and imagination. I also blame a lot on the obsession with a "clean" look. Give me buttons!

@rfzeitlin The engineering brief was to produce a car optimised for transporting Michael Caine and a bootful of gold down the steps of Turin's Gran Madre di Dio. Other functionality was optional.

Got loaned a Mini while my car has a recall done. It's a 72 plate petrol automatic. The gearbox is awful and jerky, it has zero power, and I still haven't fully grasped how to adjust the temperature. Also who puts the lights there?! I can't actually reach that without leaning.
