@MartinSLewis Still a little known fact (even to some train conductors) that if you're a permanent wheelchair user and stay in your chair for the full journey or fully visually impaired you don’t actually need to pay for the disabled railcard to qualify for the same discount available with it.

@itvMLshow @MoneySavingExp @MartinSLewis As a permanent wheelchair user living on my own I used to get 100% CT reduction. Since moving from ESA to UC, CTS has reduced from 66.7% to 50% & I now pay £360, yet no change in my circumstances or income. Do I request a CTS reassessment?

@MartinSLewis Had that call yesterday and hung up immediately, I did wonder.

I'm getting reports that a firm is cold calling people "offering grants for renewables and quoting that MARTIN LEWIS had encouraged people to engage with the company." The call is UTTER BOLLOCKS! This is not true. Don't trust them. Politely disengage and don't speak to them.

There should be one vehicle available (If they have to do it at all). One which will fit a wheelchair in. Drivers... one nominated person. Only. The nominated person can't be using the car for their own use without the recipient in it and the car must be parked at the recipients house at all time. 'Fault' accidents will result in the car being taken away. Or scrap the scheme.. there are taxis!

Before long there will be 1m taxpayer funded cars for the “disabled” in Britain. I simply don’t believe that many people need them.

OK this is weird. My computer still doing it (on Chrome) not on Edge, I'm in MSE Towers, it's not happening to anyone else (or on other computers), our crack IT team can't work it out. Yet I still can't cut and paste (or highlight) anything in the box when I'm writing a post on here!

@robmoriarty @MartinSLewis @itvMLshow Hi, I don't know much about how council tax bills are set out but if what you're actually being charged is worked using Band C rates, all is well. You should be able to find your council's band rates online and work backwards from that.

1st page of my council tax bill says my flat is Band D, the council tax support section at the end says it’s in Band C. Had adaptations for wheelchair access. Should I look more or leave alone @MartinSLewis @itvMLshow?
