@PremierScottMoe Did you know that under the NDP there was only 5% sales tax, but there were fewer categories of items taxed? Did you know that under the NDP, educational funding per student was the highest in Canada? Did you know that under the NDP, the debt was actually paid down? Etc, etc.

Did you know that under the NDP there was no Active Families Benefit that provided Saskatchewan families affordability relief for enrolling their children in sports, arts, or cultural activities?

What Alberta's ranchers accomplish is truly remarkable. Their dedication and resilience drive our agricultural industry, shaping both our communities and economy. I was honoured to have been invited to the Alberta Beef Industry Conference, one of Canada's largest beef conventions and tradeshows. This gathering provided a vital platform to discuss pressing issues alongside industry leaders. Together, we chart a course towards a stronger, more sustainable future for Alberta's agricultural sector.

@John_M_Q @TPostMillennial She directly asked him about the consequences of his party’s amendment, and as leader of a national party, it is his job to address negative consequences of their policies. (As should Mr. Singh as well).

@John_M_Q @TPostMillennial Do you just call someone SJW or activist reflexively to justify not listening to what they’re saying? He was deflecting her question by claiming the conservatives would never give money to media, but that was a direct consequence of their amendment to the online streaming act.

Funny how the 'reporter' gives a prime living example of exactly what Pollieve is talking about - right there on live TV. She's a mouthpiece of the PMO, asking 'gotcha' questions. She frames the 'question' in a certain way that Pollieve either has to answer 'yes', or 'no' to. When he attempts to put context in order to answer her 'question', she talks over him - which is a typical far left wing tactic.

@John_M_Q @TPostMillennial Activist how? It sounds like she was asking about why the CPC introduced an amendment that gave media outlets $120M in tax exceptions, a fair question in light of the layoffs by Bell. Instead of answering, he attacked her and her employers credibility.

@robwall @TPostMillennial You mean challenging an activist "reporter" who has an agenda - and can't get her facts straight? The same reporter wouldn't dare ask Castro Jr anything remotely challenging - and you know it. Why? Because she's bought and paid for, just like Pierre rightly said.

Jesus Christ man, take off the fucking tinfoil hat for five goddamn minutes. It’s just about making things more accessible for people all over the city. Nothing will change, you can still live, work, play, school, eat and shop wherever the fuck you want to. #EverythingIsStupid

Total nonsense. People BUY or RENT their homes and have the right to work and play and school and eat and shop where ever they damn well please. This is about control. Nothing more. Council ⁦for @CityofEdmonton⁩ can FO.

Yet more BS from Brett to fertilize his rage farming. 15 minute city planning does not restrict anyone to staying within their local community, but it does plan so that frequently used services like groceries, recreation, and health are within a reasonable distance of homes.

It’s yet another grave error in judgement by Danielle Smith to share a stage with Tucker Carlson. The people of Alberta should not have their good name hijacked by someone who makes their money peddling racism, misogyny, far-right conspiracy theories, and outright lies.

We’ve said we will work to address issues around class size and composition, and that’s exactly what we are doing with $53.1 million in new funding. While the STF says this isn’t about money, they continue to demand a 23.5% increase. Let’s get back to the table so we can negotiate a fair deal.

@Martyupnorth_2 And trolling/rage farming online is protected speech (as it ought to be), so all the Musk-rats are free to speak their minds. But you can only sell bullshit and convince people it’s gold for so long before they figure it out.

So far I'm liking 2024 a lot. Trudeau is tanking in the polls. Green energy got slapped around in Alberta. Notley resigned. Trump is leading. Farmers are protesting in Europe. The U.S.A. is in a deep chill. Volcanoes are changing the climate.

@WBrettWilson 0:42 - “Canada is the land of tolerance. Canada is the land of the rule of law” 1:06 - “Canada is not broken” So Brett, please stop encouraging antagonism and support for premiers who flagrantly break federal laws, and start promoting that Canada works when we all work together!

Canada is not broken. It’s worth considering why some people work so hard to convince us that it is, who is funding them, and what’s the agenda of the people holding the purse strings.

You can disagree with the law, and you can disagree with the policies of the federal government, but they are by rule of law the duly elected federal government.
