@bmcsr_32616 @Daily_Chiefs_ stfu you loser you can't even grow a fucking beard
English

@Daily_Chiefs_ Just at op comparing the Chiefs to the Patriots! There are levels! The Chiefs literally won so many games because of the refs, including that first Superbowl against the Eagles. Ever see those hilarious YouTube short videos about the refs and Mahomes? There’s a reason for that!

I see so many people saying K9 is the more talented player…
He’s NOT. FULL STOP.
He’s the more athletic player, yes, Blitz pickup is a skill, Short Yardage/Goalline work is a skill…
There is a reason he has 12 TD’s, it’s not vulturing if he’s the one you trust to just get the 3 yards you need.
Which one was the 3rd down back?
Charbs is better than K9 at ALL of the above.
I would prioritize all of that over the breakaway ability edge he had over Charbonnet.
That’s not to discount that ability, I just think it’s EASIER to replace than ALL the other intangibles.
They were prioritizing Charbs over Walker down the stretch before he got hurt AND they want a tandem backfield it’s harder on good defenses to account for two different types of fresh legged backs, no different than rotating DT’s and Edge’s.
Fresh legs beat worn ones in the 4th quarter.
It’s no secret that Walker was finally healthy the entire season this year either BECAUSE they 50/50 split last seasons work load.

Kenneth Walker was “privately irked” by his job share with Zach Charbonnet, per @gbellseattle
Charbonnet played 49% of the Seahawks’ regular season snaps, while Walker played 47%

Free agent guard Mike Caliendo is signing a one-year deal to remain with the Chiefs, per agent Nate Richman of @3XLSports.
Caliendo had numerous offers elsewhere but wanted to stay with Kansas City.

@Gene_Chizzle @trent_mcduffie @CrematedSoul92 This timely 3rd down blitz was not about Duffy, it was Spags blitz package.
English

@trent_mcduffie thanks for the memories, and good luck in LA. The worst part about being a fan is realizing that this is also a business. Wish we could keep all our players but it is what it is, good luck Trent

@Schultz_Report Chiefs re-sign Thornton adds speed and big-play potential
English

The #Chiefs deal with Tyquan Thornton is for 2-years and $11M, per sources.
Jordan Schultz@Schultz_Report
Sources: The #Chiefs are re-signing WR Tyquan Thornton. The speedy Thornton had a career-high 438 receiving yards last season.

@ArrowheadCorner @ByNateTaylor you spelled Mauigoa wrong
English

Jaylon Moore is expected to be the starting right tackle for the upcoming season.
Per, @ByNateTaylor.

English

@geoffschwartz Geoff, you honestly can't go by what any of these new Chiefs fan think. About 90% of them are bandwagon boys. The real ones know the guy was a solid player, just ha some issues with penalties.
English

No surprise here.
Taylor played far better than people want to credit him for.
Adam Schefter@AdamSchefter
Chiefs have informed OT Jawaan Taylor that he will be released before the start of the league year barring a trade, per sources. Taylor’s release will save the Chiefs $20 million under the cap.
English

@mcfc_son @AdamSchefter alright you gotta be AI because any intelligent human being that's actually a fan of this team knows that they're gonna take an OT with the first round pick. We all just got dumber reading this shit
English

This feels like short term cap relief masking a bigger problem. Kansas City Chiefs saving $20 million looks smart on paper but moving on from Jawaan Taylor without a clear, proven replacement is a real gamble especially for a team whose championship window is tied to protecting its franchise quarterback.
Taylor wasn’t perfect but offensive line continuity matters, and cycling tackles to fix cap issues often creates new on field ones. If this move is purely financial rather than football driven, it risks weakening a unit that’s supposed to be a strength. Cap management is important but not at the expense of stability where it matters most.
English

"The Chiefs cutting Jawaan Taylor is peak short-sightedness. Sure, $20M under the cap is tempting, but you don’t just replace a top-tier OT like that—especially when protecting Patrick Mahomes should be non-negotiable. This screams ‘win-now at the cost of continuity’ and could come back to haunt them in the playoffs."
English

@AdamSchefter so in other words Chiefs taking either Mauigoa or Fano and if they're gone trade back and take Proctor
