@henrywinter Stones and Maguire still the best 2. Crying shame Jarred Branthwaite hasn't stayed fit because he's the best of the lot. The fact he's overlooked so often in discussion though says a lot for this country and it's national team. Dan Burn!!!! Dear me.

Huge cheer as Harry Maguire comes on. And almost scores. England fans singing Maguire’s name. But apparently his Tuchel's sixth-choice centre-back. Crazy. Should be on the plane. #ENG

This manager deeming Dan Burn good enough for continual selection to the national squad is very, very worrying.

@henrywinter Gordon not good enough. Foden and Palmer not in form or played enough. Likes of Dewsberry-Hall who is in form and an outstanding footballer not getting a look in. Players pulling out but will be fit this time next week for their clubs. Seen this script before with England.

England so narrow. Where is the width? Gordon coming inside, Rogers coming inside. Full-backs trying to provide some width. One good cross from O'Reilly. White pushing on. But otherwise so narrow. And the false 9 isn't working. England not able without Kane. #ENG

I could never understand the hype surrounding Gordon when he was playing for us. So I am flabbergasted at how he gets a start for England.

Football has a serious problem. Officiating. Them tonight were appalling. Almost but not quite as bad as the commentary team.

Richie Benaud on the art of commentary "Put your brain into gear and if you can add to what's on the screen then do it, otherwise shut up". If only Matterface would take heed, dear god!

Good half from Garner. Basically playing in midfield on his own.

@henrywinter Nothing is unfair on any of that "big 6" mob. Everything is tailored for them. So give it a rest with the continual woe is they rhetoric or the we need a winter break nonsense. Successful clubs play more games, was ever thus

French league moves PS-G’s top-of-the-table clash with Lens to help PS-G “prepare in the best conditions” for the Champions League. PS-G’s trip to Lens was scheduled between two legs of PS-G quarter-final with Liverpool. Decision clearly damages the French league from a sporting perspective (if not in pursuit of Uefa co-efficient points). It’s unfair on Lens. It's also unfair on Liverpool. It’s certainly hard to see PL doing the same for English teams. To help Liverpool prepare in the best conditions should the Fulham match between the PS-G games be postponed? No chance of that happening. Why should Fulham be messed around? Interesting to see Liverpool/Slot’s reaction to PS-G fixture success.

@chris_sutton73 @jamesk8321 Simple. It's lazy and ignorant. He kicked on last time he was at the club and he'll kick on again. Whatever it means. There is nothing wrong with his style of football, never has been it's nonsense.Look at some of the best teams in our league for god sake, are they good to watch?

@SkyBet Everton being 3pts off the Champions League after 3 relegation fights is a great shout, as is Brentford, Bournemouth & Sunderland.

@GiuliaBould Hypothetically. If money was no object and players, agents, etc could be paid any amount of money (in secret) to entice them to the club. Who in world football would he try and buy? Not that the Premier League would stand for such skullduggery of course

Everton welcome Chelsea to Hill Dickinson Stadium tomorrow in the 17:30 kick off. #EFC looking to build their home form after the win over Burnley at the start of the month. David Moyes holds his pre match press conference at 13:30, Blues what would you like to know?

The fall out over the Chelsea verdict continues. Not yet seen or heard a single football club pass comment on the disgraceful resolution however. Until they grow some balls, unite, realise as one they are as stronger than 6 then nothing will change. Gutless.

@henrywinter Fair play for making this point BUT we all know in a few weeks time it will all be forgotten in the press and smoke will continue to blown up the proverbial backsides of the select few clubs who call the shots in this country.

At some point, senior Premier League execs have to offer a proper explanation in public for their leniency towards Chelsea. They owe an explanation to fans of clubs punished more harshly. They owe an explanation to those clubs who did abide by the rules. They have to offer some explanation as to why PSR breaches are deemed far more serious than acts of "deception and concealment". Yes, these are the offences of a previous regime at Chelsea. But inconsistencies run through the PL's defence and their reputation is damaged. They can’t hide from a controversy of this magnitude.

Reading how @ChelseaFC will only infuriate Luton Town fans even more. Chelsea reported themselves, so did we, Chelsea profited from their actions, we didn't. We got 10 points deducted, they got a slap on the wrist. Football is corrupt and so are the people running it
