@willothewoods okay yeah. tbf i know what you're saying. if calling him a "child" was your only point about saying he's not to be called a "man", it's whatever and not quite what i said it is even if i don't like it. i found the wording annoying and replied with my immediate thought about why
English

If you can't kick back about misogyny as a man bc you're "afraid of being clocked" than I think you're pathetic, and a boy, unworthy of being called a man. If the masculinity you desire requires silence in the face of misogyny to garner acceptance, you're a colossal piece of shit

@viosekes @kyokozumwinkle @1uppeach @crimsonfemmme a bisexual can strictly date women. that's not what a lesbian is.
English

@likemyselfnow For me I'm bisexual, but my queerplatonic and alterous attraction is lesbian.
English

And bi lesbians are treated like we're evil and like we're a joke at the same time.

bi women get called lesbians and lesbians get called secretly bi like .. queer women can never win

Supporting your girlfriend after something traumatic isn't normal? 😭😭

@_coolguy5000 killing a cellular lifeform is not equal to killing a sentient being and people should not be forced to keep fetuses growing inside of them just because of what the fetus could become otherwise.
English

@rott3nfruitz Sure. Why does that excuse killing them though? You'll find that it in fact doesn't excuse killing them. A human that has been conscious before (which is a bit arbitrary btw) mattering more does NOT logically lead to killing unborn babies. It doesn't.
English

@moonblurr0 @formybaela does your brain register "christian" and "muslim" as the only options for people to be? both of you christians and muslims are misogynistic and i am neither of you.
English

@_coolguy5000 as unconscious people have had consciousness (and may become conscious again), their body belongs to them as a person. they are also not growing inside of anyone's body, so there is obviously no acceptable reason to kill said unconscious individual in that simple scenario.
English

@_coolguy5000 anyone sensible should understand why conscious beings matter most as they're thinking, feeling, and aware. a creature's state of being holds more weight to anyone with actual morals than a cellular lifeform being of the same species.
English

@_coolguy5000 i care more about animals being killed than human lifeforms that haven't even gained consciousness. you just feel something about the term "human" because that's our species and nothing else meaningful. human cellular life doesn't equate to human life with consciousness.
English

@rott3nfruitz You should care if human beings are murdered. I care about human beings equally. Anyway, did you know surgeries can be done on a fetus?
I don't care which person you think I identify more with, I am against killing human beings. Which is the only moral stance to have.
English

@_coolguy5000 fetuses aren't people, they don't have personhood. you're using your own definitions of person/human being as much as anyone you criticise for doing so. you just think "can grow into" means "is", which is blatantly wrong.
English

@rott3nfruitz And obviously, killing people is wrong. And dehumanizing them does not then make it okay to kill them.
English

@_coolguy5000 i don't care that i "was that" and developed from that. that changes nothing. does thinking "THAT WAS ME!" really make you feel as though it should be developed? you're identifying more with an unconscious organism than the actualised person who is living beyond cellular life.
English

@rott3nfruitz That "organism" is a human being. It is what you were. You LITERALLY are that SAME "organism"
We are talking about people, like you, just much younger.
"potential" people, would be egg cells and sperm cells.
People are conceived when they are conceived
English

@_coolguy5000 it begins when consciousness develops.
what is wrong should be understood by the harm experienced, not the idea that all forms of human life must be equal simply because "human".
English

@rott3nfruitz This doesn't answer why I should care about such a philosophical idea. Which there are hundreds of different definitions for.
This also doesn't answer when it begins.
English

@_coolguy5000 comparing existing children to organisms with the potential to develop into them as a defense for forcing children to go through pregnancies and give birth is more evil than aborting said organism will ever be.
English

@rott3nfruitz The child's right to life supersedes. Just as you cannot use your bodily autonomy to just not feed your child. You are indeed compelled to make certain actions for your child. This is not a foreign concept. Abortion is still evil. You don't kill a child because its in your house.
English

@_coolguy5000 i mean... "being" seemingly refers to a specific state of being in this term. i mean, you can call them "human beings" if you want, but regardless of if they are no human being has the right to another human's body without consent, regardless of if their life depends on it.

English

@rott3nfruitz Because an embryo is a human being. Human beings should have human rights. And children have a right to life. As any human being does.
A lack of care about someone's life is not relevant to whether or not a human being should be killed.
English
