To the Capitol and Beyond

Chemistry I students explored the history of alchemy while conducting hands-on chemistry experiments in the lab. Using a copper coil, they observed how a chemical reaction can cause the copper to appear to turn silver. Transformed Copper pennies so appear to turn Silver to Gold

After lunch, our seniors watched Flight 93 on the bus as we traveled to the Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville. A powerful way to understand the courage and sacrifice of the passengers and crew before visiting the site where their story is honored. 🇺🇸 ☀️ 💙

Our seniors are officially on the road for their annual trip to Washington, D.C.! 🇺🇸✈️ Excited for a week of history, learning, and unforgettable memories together.
