Whilst there's some stratospheric claims of a machines capacity in certain crops, it's the averages that matter. So here's my data from 2021 to 2025 with @CaseIHAus 8250 Chrome. I'd be very interested to see others data listed as same. Not a competition - just comparing.

Spot on Rob (though I did accidentally have the NH in the wrong cells, my bad & the Claas ones were how CLAAS see themselves here funnily enough). On the JD site it has the x series as group 10 & 11, the CIH site has AF10 & 11 as 10+ which leads to confusion when discussing combine classes. I have attached the revised version of the classing system as it is based on the rated hp as it’s supposed to be.

@WheatWatcher I love my job and will always answer the phone to service our customer base, I’ve grown up in ag and that’s the job. However you do notice your the odd one out when holidaying with friends

@WheatWatcher It’s a very interesting discussion in regards to the ag service industry and particularly when you think about machinery sales and service. Farms can be running 18 hour days even in non peak times and there’s always an expectation of after hours support.
