@BasedMikeLee Proof of citizenship required. Passport is proof of citizenship. If you don’t have that, and you are say a married woman, then you need more than just your birth certificate. Birth certificates are also not enough proof in themselves because some people rescind their citizenship.

@_nomadic_soul @AZTXMandatory @ryanburge I remember being accused of being demon possessed by church leaders after acting up in my teens while my family was going through a really heavy crisis. The immediate move of the church was to blame the devil, rather than show enough empathy to try to point to help.

Maybe, just maybe it has been a bad idea to suggest that one can faithfully be a Democrat and a Christian. Because then it sends the message that moral horrors like abortion aren’t that big of a deal.
